Nous sommes trois amis qui partageons un goût prononcé pour le voyage, l’aventure et la découverte. Nous avons créé l’Association Far East Express, type Loi 1901 (Publication J.O, 18 décembre 2010) avec le double objectif de préparer notre voyage humanitaire vers la Mongolie et de réunir les fonds nécessaires à relever les défis qui nous attendent.

We are three friends, fond of travelling and eager to participate to a new adventurous trip. Mongol Rally appeared to gather everything we needed to participate to such rally. On the first hand, it is a car driving adventure. We love cars and we love to drive them. On the second hand, the ambulance we have decided to ride will be given to a Mongolian hospital or to a NGO acting over there. This appeared to us like we would kill two birds with one stone...

For this adventure we have founded a non-profit association (registered to French authorities) called "Far East Express". The reason why we created it, is that this association allow us to raise funds.

Regarding the funds we may be able to raise, we would like to be crystal clear, all of them will be re-distributed to the two associations we are supporting: Christina Noble and Mercy Corps. 

Doté d'un goût prononcé pour la découverte, l’aventure et les rencontres, il aime rédiger. Il sera le "Tintin Reporter" de l’équipe, à qui il incombera de tenir un carnet de bord tout au long du voyage.

He is willing to discover new cultures and to meet new people, well he just can't wait for the Mongol Rally to begin. Damien likes to write so he has been designated as the responsible of the team blog. As it is important for every team member to get a nickname, he is the "Tintin reporter" of the team. 

For now several years, he has been travelling around the world. But now, he wanted to experience a new kind of travel, something which is more adventurous and challenging. When he discovered the existence of the Mongol Rally, he wanted to participate immediately and he convinced his brother (Damien) and a common Friend (Ben) to be part of the adventure. His nickname for the rally is "John Hannibal Smith". 

Ben has been travelling across Europe and North America for years. He has already been participating to various national charity actions. Ben is obviously the team member who has the most outstanding technical skills. So, his nickname for the adventure will simply be "MacGyver".
